MICHELLE THOMSON MSP ANNOUNCES 4 DAY TOUR OF FALKIRK EAST CONSTITUENCY
Michelle Thomson, SNP MSP for Falkirk East, has announced her schedule for touring her constituency over four days in August – starting in Slamannan on Monday 16 August at 2pm, and finishing in Brightons on Thursday 26 August.
During her campaign, Michelle made it clear that one of her priorities would be to get out into the communities she serves. This initial four-day tour is the first step, and the new SNP MSP for Falkirk East is in the process of planning more innovative ways of getting out to her constituents.
Commenting, Michelle Thomson MSP, said: “The importance of being in your communities as an elected representative cannot be overstated. I want to provide my communities with the highest level of service they deserve and expect as their MSP.
“That is why I am determined to visit as many places as I can across this initial four-day tour. I hope to meet and speak to as many people as possible, and this is the chance for anyone who wants to raise any issues with me to do so personally.
“I am looking forward to getting into the constituency and speaking to people face-to-face – but this is no one-off. You can expect to see me more often in every community as the MSP for Falkirk East providing my constituents with the representation they need and deserve.”
